Answer 2 for DNP 825 Compare prominent health concerns in developed countries with prominent health concerns in underdeveloped countries, and explain how factors such as the economy, politics, and natural resources contribute to global health disparities

I agree with you that both developed and underdeveloped worlds have health concerns. However, the health concerns in these two regions are unique based on the tastes and preferences of different stakeholders. In developed countries prominent health concerns include heart disease, cancer, stroke, accidents, and chronic respiratory disease. On the other hand, developing world is struggling against Malaria, poor hand hygiene, HIV/Aids, typhoid fever, and tuberculosis (Abbas, 2021). Surprisingly, the developed and underdeveloped world tackled the COVID-19 pandemic as a health concern to all. However, the developed world used its influence to prioritize their response and recovery. Underdeveloped nations had a delayed response since developed nations prioritized their recovery (Ngwa et al., 2020). High global demand for pharmaceuticals and vaccines displayed the inequality that exists between these two worlds. The diplomatic ties between countries and regions have enabled addressing of many health concerns in developed and underdeveloped countries.
